The PlayBook (4g) by RIM will be one of the big competitors to the ipad featuring a 7 inch lcd touch screen with 1080p playback with full multi touch and has dual cameras a 3mp front  facing camera and a 5mp rear camera with 1080p video capture that are supported with a 1 ghz dual-core processor and 1 gb of ram. It's ganna be release in march.

Apple Reached 10 billion App Downloads

Today Apple reached 10 billion App download since its first download from the app store that was release in 2008 it took apple approximately two and half years to reach that number of downloads which Apple considers this a great achievement, and as all of you know there was a contest that ended today by the download of the 10 Billionth App. The winner which is yet to be announced in the next 10 days will win a 10 thousand dollar apple itunes card.

Apple increases the Number of iPad 2 PCB Manufacturers

    Taipei news has stated that apple has increased the number of printed circuit manufacturers for the new ipad 2 from just 3 to 7 as the compony wants to decrease the chances of shortages of the iPad 2's launch.

Why is Apple ahead of everybody?

an apple product now to some people is like having a ferrari its great looks beautiful its designed well and you can showoff with it to the point where people lined up in lines when a new apple products was introduced in the shops. and the question is why?

There is no iPad 2 this month or even in the first 2 weeks of february !!

Some are saying that the ipad 2 announced in the begging of february or even this week is doubtful and that its ganna be announced in late february early march. and that means that the ipad 2 will be shipped in early april like many of the rumors have said. nevertheless these are only speculations and analysis and that they aren't even rumors which are based on sources. so there are 2 groups in these rumors as i can see one group says that the ipad2  will be announced in the first half of february and shipped in march and the other group predicts that the ipad 2 will be announced in march and shipped in april. either way nobody can confirm these speculations and rumors and we will all have to wait until apple announces it. agree?

VGA and a 1 megapixel cameras for the iPad 2 !!!!!

   The people at 9to5 Mac have found in the iOS 4.3 SDK in a file named AVCaptureSession.plist that is located in a folder "K94" which supposedly is the codename for the 2nd generation ipad. and if the ipad is really ganna have 2 cameras with these specs then many people will be let down by apple.

iPad 2 will launch in APRIL new rumors say!!

This is what digitimes reported from sources:
                                 "Apple has increased the number of PCB suppliers for iPad 2 from three to seven, industry sources have claimed. The newly-added contract makers, Compeq Manufacturing, Gold Circuit Electronics (GCE), Meiko and Nan Ya PCB, will begin shipments of any-layer HDI boards in small volumes between the end of February and early March prior to mass shipments in April, according to the sources."

   

Which will mean if its true that the ipad 2 will be release not before april of 2011. 

Apple's future is in question?

Apple's ceo steve jobs took a medical leave due to his many ups and downs in his transplanted liver. in the past he was diagnosed with a rare type of pancreatic cancer. So will this affect the companies big profits and the peak that they are reaching? not to mention he is the mastermind and the one behind all the success that apple is achieving right now and some also say that apple's creativity will dissipate when he leaves but others disagree by saying that the compony will do just fine and they have managed in the past to deal with the company in his absence.

no multi-gestures for the ipad 2?

  The ios 4.3 beta 2 has been released a couple of days ago and it came out without the multi-gestures like in the 1st beta. so was apple testing the two versions to see the reaction of the user? or was it testing it for the 3rd generation ipad? well no one yet has an answer to this question except apple. who knows maybe we will see the multi-gestures in the ipad 2 we'll have to wait and see and its not far away as sources say its ganna be released in the next 20 DAYS!! The iPad 2 international release date maybe postponed!!!

LG's CEO Kwon Young-sootold reporters that they were simply unable to meet the production demands for the iPad:

"Demand (from Apple) keeps growing and we can't meet it all. Apple may have to delay launches of the iPad for some countries due to tight component supplies and strong demand. We are considering increasing production lines for iPad products but overall supply is likely to remain tight until early next year."

That experience alone would likely have incentivized Apple to explore more reliable supplies of LCD displays for their growing iOS portfolio.

February 9 release date for the iPad 2nd generation?

this time apple is making the rumor and Florian was the first one to point out at what seems to be evidence of the release date of the ipad second generation.

        and thats what he said:
                                          When looking at the preview for a chosen background in the settings app in iOS 4.3 beta 2 you can see that the calendar-icon shows a 9. Looking at the screenshots of the iPad homescreen in the Apple Store, the icon shows a 27. Since Apple presented the first generation of the iPad on Jan. 27th 2010, I think this is a clear evidence for the iPad 2 to be unveiled on Feb. 09th 2011.


         so this time the calender is showing us the release date!!!!
