Windows 8 makes apple's iOS look old

For the past two years we have seen apple release great devices which made apple the leading company in innovations due to its simple yet its one of the most innovative UIs ever created that made iPads and iPhones fly of the shelves like candles in an electricity crisis. UI wasn't the only reason that made these products fly of the shelves execution, marketing also played a big role but the lack of high standards among the competing companies made it an easy competition for apple. Until Microsoft showed off their next operating system to the world and made available to the world as a developer preview.

Now apple is usually the one making new tech that looks both simple and easy to use (even your old folks can use them) but this time simplicity and complexity combined in an interface that allows you to get information from the home screen without even launching a single app due to its widget style apps that are big enough to display information or as (Microsoft likes to say it) "express itself" came from a company that has been called many things but simple and stylish weren't one of them.
The problem that i think apple is gonna face if they don't give there UI a new look is that its gonna look shall i call it "old fashioned" which it is if you look at it, its been 4 years since apple introduced iOS and nothing has dramatically changed apple is now like Porsche they are great cars but they still look like a beetle and thats not good when you are paying a premium. the main reason/only good reason  that somebody chooses an android device over their iOS counterpart is that they are more customizable and are fun to navigate around, apple's UI is like a fillet of beef that's not seasoned. steve jobs said when he first introduced the ipad that its gonna be a Post-PC era and i agree with him but its not gonna be with an iOS device. iOS devices are great consumption devices they don't create and thats where windows just demolishes them. imagine your desktop PC on a tablet device but yet more easy to use and touch friendly thats what windows 8.
all of this seems to be going great for Microsoft/Windows but windows 8 is gonna be out in a year or so and by then apple would have released iOS 6 so its not fair to just slam it but if apple wants to keep leading the market they should redesign their iOS from the ground up.

I advice everybody from OSX to Win 7 users to download the beta version as a dual boot and really try it out because even though its the beta version its a really new experience for Notebook/desktop users. and guess what its 3.6 GB for the 64-bit version and 2.8 GB for the 32-bit version.
