Apple sold 1 Million iPad 2s in the weekend

    Last year the ipad sold around 300,000 in the first couple of days of its release which shocked the observers and apple itself to but with the iPad 2 its another story. the Apple was able to sell in the weekend around 1 million iPad 2s which nobody have expected not even apple who said that 2011 is the year of the iPad 2 and that it will over sell the first generation iPad, but they weren't expecting this amount of people to buy this product in its first days of its release.
    The iPad 2 was sold and will continue to sell at Best Buy, Verison,  AT&T, and the Apple store which is an increase compared to the retailers that sold the first generation iPad which theoretically means that there will be less pressure on the retailers but that wasn't the case on friday or the following morning where in many cases the lines were 500+ people long and reaching in some cases to more than a 1000+ at some Apple stores in which many stores where sold out in matter of few hours or even in few minutes. Today most stores are out of stocks and will be waiting for the next shipment which should come as soon as tomorrow. The same thing you can say about the online orders if you have ordered an ipad 2 online or want to then you probably are/will be waiting for 3 to 4 weeks. so your better of going to a retailer store and wait a couple of hours than waiting weeks for the iPad 2.
  So as Steve as Steve Job said 2011 is definitely the year of the iPad 2 and I'm not saying that because i like apple I'm saying that because the people have spoken and said that this (iPad 2) is the best tablet the is on the market today.
