RFID/NFC add-ons, carbon fiber body and a 7” iPad

iLounge was provided with new info on the upcoming iPad 2 from "accurate sources". the source informed that apple is currently developing new accessories to make the iPad 2 abel to communicate with RFID (radio frequency identification) which allows the transfer of data without the need for a bluetooth or similar connections.

The source also stated that the new ipad may have a new body material (as rumored before) like Carbon Fiber which helps improves the weight to strength ratio.
furthermore the source said that apple asked a component provider to develop a part for a 7 inch ipad. well if apple has changed its mind on the idea of a 7 inch device then this will open new doors for new customers and give people a choice to select between three different sizes (ipod/iphone, ipad 7 inch, and the ipad 9.7 inch). but in my opinion a small screen wouldn't actually be helpful since it isn't a practical way to view websites watch movies and even read books and it's not much of a difference in carrying it compared to an ipad 9.7 inches.
