Earlier reports and ipad 2 cases pointed out to the probability that the new ipad 2 will have an SD card slot.
Now a new trusted source for apple insider has stated that this opening that is seen in the cases is for the 3g models which have a sim card slot. and this explains that why many cases for the ipad 2 didn't have the same opening since the user doesn't use it regularly.
